Hi, where can I find documentation abount configuring apache and installing it?

xjpvictor commented on 2012-06-04 16:09

Adopted and updated to Version 1.8.1
The directory is moved to /usr/share/webapps/piwik

zorun commented on 2012-04-22 10:40

Orphaned. I don't have the time to make things work properly (put everything in /usr/share/webapps).

1.7 is out; since it's a non-critical release and I've got no time now, I'll only update it in a few days.

I also want to move everything to /usr/share/webapps to conform to what seems a common practice for packaging webapps. I guess the wiki page [1] would need some editing on this point :)

Probably symlink would work, but it's better to set path to piwik in server configuration. In example lighttpd offers own symlink features.

Oh, cool, I've always been wondering what was the proper way to do that.

How is the user supposed to use the webapp in /srv/http (or whatever) then? A symlink, or copying the whole directory?

I think you should keep phpMyAdmin and cgit scheme, and install files in /usr/share/webapps/piwik at default.

Upgraded to 1.6
According to upstream, this is a major security upgrade. [1]

@koral: upgraded to 1.5.1

zorun commented on 2011-07-21 07:08

@dej: you're welcome ;)

@koral: ack, but I'm currently unable to upgrade the package (holidays...)
And it's only a minor update, see
