@rany: Weird, those are missing as well, but didn't show up in AUR's UI for some reason. I'll fix those as well soon.

$ yay -S mailpile
 -> Could not find all required packages:
    python2-monotonic>=0.1 (Wanted by: mailpile -> python2-fasteners)
    python2-lxml>=2.3.2 (Wanted by: mailpile)
    python2-pillow (Wanted by: mailpile)

Seems like I stil couldn't get it to install. Hopefully it will get ported to python3 soon

Disowning as the package has gone without updates for months and the author hasn't logged in since a year. Feel free to pick it up.

HI. Mailpile is currently at v1.0.0rc1. Any hopes for an update? Thank You!

The reason is that removing users and groups automatically poses a security risk if any files are left behind.

Is there a particular reason why you do not remove the user/group when uninstalling?

You're absolutely right! I changed the dependency to gnupg1 and the source code to use gpg1 (instead of gpg).
