If you don't have time, may I ask to be added as a co-maintainer for this package and several other ones (lxqt-openssh-askpass-git, lxqt-panel-git, lxqt-sudo-git)?

Hello, could you add lxqt-build-tools-git to makedepends?

lxqt-build-tools does not work for now as 0.4.1 tag is missing [1], so the official Arch package is still 0.4.0 [2], and the latest liblxqt-git requires 0.4.1 [3].

My temporary fix --> commented the pkgver() line and edited the standard pkgver to It's working fine for now.

I confirm what harry218 reported.

==> ERROR: pkgver is not allowed to contain colons, hyphens or whitespace.
==> ERROR: Makepkg was unable to build .

You were right, solved it

That's strange, I hadn't run into this problem with any other package.

This is a problem with your setup.
