Hi everyone, good news.
Since 5.3 kernel this package is mostly obsolete, - CX2072x codecs are now included in the mainline kernel.
However the alsa-lib package is still missing UCM configuration files to make it work. They are already contributed to the upstream, just not released yet.
Until that happens to make CX2072x work you can put HiFi.conf and bytcht-cx2072x.conf from here: https://github.com/heikomat/linux/tree/cx2072x/cx2072x_fixes_and_manual/bytcht-cx2072x to the /usr/share/alsa/ucm/bytcht-cx2072x folder to make it work.
Don't forget to remove them when alsa-lib will be updated to avoid conflicts.
