It seems that upstream has those patches after all, so this package is no longer relevant.

I have an Asus UX430UA, which has the 96x96 sensor (04f3:0903). In the beginning it worked really bad, but after some swiping practice it works really quite well actually (almost every time in one try). Make sure you swipe slowly. Thanks for the effort! :)

Understood. Thanks for the update. :)

Thanks, erkexzck, I have updated the package with your comments. Unfortunately, the driver does not seem to work well with some of the single touch sensors. From what I've read, libfprint expects a higher resolution than some of these sensors provide, so while you might get a finger here or there to work, it won't be reliable. It's not actually the driver's fault, but the design of libfprint that's incompatible some of these low cost sensors.

Documentation fails to build (also this is mentioned in the GIT repo). See my comments below for workaround.

Some fingers are detected, but always end up with "Enroll result: enroll-unknown-error". Not quite sure, but I think this driver is not working with Asus UX430UQ laptop's fingerprint sensor (04f3:0903)...

Updated and working AUR package: (fixed documentation build issue and symlinked C header file to correct location in order to make fingerprint-gui installable).
