Good idea... I should have checked the official gnome-vfs before going off on a hunt for older gnutls. Thanks for the tip.

I updated the PKGBUILD to combine official gnome-vfs with the 32-bit specific stuff and am calling it release 11. Dependency to lib32-gnutls28 set back to lib32-gnutls. It builds fine, but I don't have a way to test it right now.

If it breaks anything, please let me know =)

I appreciate the fix. I definitely use it and anybody using CodeComposer studio for embedded development would require it as well.

Just an FYI there's a patch available that I used to fix my problem its available in the official package.

Should be fixed now. It looks like gnutls updated:

[2015-05-06 11:55] [ALPM] upgraded lib32-gnutls (3.3.13-1 -> 3.4.0-2)

I changed the dependency to lib32-gnutls28, since that's the last version that seems to work with gnome-vfs, and since the package already exists in AUR.

New PKGBUILD (release 10) should fix everything. Only took me about an hour or so. I guess I see why the last maintainer orphaned the package. This thing isn't maintained anymore upstream.

By the way, is anyone actively using this? I'm curious what requires it. I only took over because I was trying to get Lotus Notes working in Arch Linux.

Having an issue compiling it, it fails with the following message

I vote for this package and all its dependencies should be on official repositorys.

This patch fixes it:

export CC='gcc -m32 -Dg_memmove=memmove'
export CXX='g++ -m32 -Dg_memmove=memmove'
in build()

kyak commented on 2014-12-12 19:38

It wouldn't build.. It all comes down to undefined reference to `g_memmove'

Thanks for the reply, @trovao. PKGBUILD fixed in 2.24.4-8

@josephgbr Hum, actually, I still need it. It will build fine if you apply this patch:

A bit of context:

@seanl: This package seems to be too much deprecated (it won't even build!). Do you see any problem in me requesting deletion of this package?
