Yes i noticed now i use pacaur and it used the old archive in cache, i am sorry for my previous comment. Thanks.

Please note that 1.5.1-2 is not based on the same archive as 1.5.1-1 was. There was an upstream bug so delete the old upstream archive before trying to build 1.5.1-2.

1.5.1-2 fails checksum check for me.

I had issues building the package without installing lib32-dbus. Thanks

@yochananmarqos nevermind. That was actually my bad.

My system was just so outdated (about 1 month) that I just updated everything, changed kernel, performed several reboots, removed all orphans and reinstalled every package. After final reboot everything was working fine and this package lib32-gamemode installed just fine.

yochananmarqos commented on 2019-08-31 14:08

@erkexzcx Try makepkg -C to clean build it.

Doesn't build on my machine:

==> Starting build()...
Directory already configured.

Just run your build command (e.g. ninja) and Meson will regenerate as necessary.
If ninja fails, run "ninja reconfigure" or "meson --reconfigure"
to force Meson to regenerate.

If build failures persist, run "meson setup --wipe" to rebuild from scratch
using the same options as passed when configuring the build.
To change option values, run "meson configure" instead.

After installing lib32-dbus additionally, the library does compile, but still not work.

"(LD_PRELOAD=)libgamemodeauto.0" launches, but quits after ~5 seconds. "gamemoded -s" shows the status as active, then as inactive.

I don't know if this is an issue with the package, but the 64bit version works just fine.

Build fails without lib32-dbus

thanks Storenfried, added as build dependency. This is an upstream issue because I build without systemd (in theory at least)
