Vi0L0, sorry for the delayed reply, missed the email via a filter.

I switched to the main branch because all of the code from my branch got merged into the main levd repo. Most likely what is happening is the main repo supports switching between CPU and liquid temperature sources, but it defaults to CPU. That feature wasn't in my older branch.

Since CPU temperature swings more dramatically, this causes the fan-speed to ramp up suddenly to 100% then drop down quite often. You can change this back to liquid temperature based to minimize drastic swings by using the following in /etc/leviathan/levd.cfg

temperature_source: "liquid"

There were other config format changes however, so I recommend reviewing the default config in the levd repo, and comparing to your levd.cfg

Hi jrudess, new version is working terrible with my kraken x61, pump jump very often to 100% (at least couple of time per minute) with no good reason. Can you maybe reup your levd github repo so I could compile your good oldie r3.fd0be7d-6 package (I forgot to backit up)?

edit: I found r3.fd0be7d-6 xz package on my disk. Works like a charm. I still think reuping it would be good idea. Plus maybe downgrade to your version. RBlafford/levd works very bad for me, new and older versions
