I've updated some of the dependencies based on the "deb" package:

  • depends=('nodejs' 'npm' 'gnome-keyring' 'gconf')
  • depends=('libnotify' 'libappindicator' 'libxtst' 'nss' 'libsecret')

Let us know if there are any issues.

I've went ahead and pushed a maintenance update that should resolve the startup issues and the 'lbry' package not existing.

If you are still encountering this issue, please backup all of your LBRY files (wallet and other data) by following these instructions;

Then completely uninstall the LBRY app using 'sudo pacman -Rsn lbry-app-bin' and rebuild via the AUR.

Thank you all for your patience.

@Ordoviz - The permission issue should be fixed in this latest update, however, we are noticing the build succeeding but not producing an exec in usr/bin/lbry

Looking into this with the LBRY team themselves, working on a fix locally before pushing a maintenance update to the AUR.

Please hold tight, folks!

After the update to 0.38.0 lbry doesn’t start anymore. When installing with pacman -U I get the warning:

directory permissions differ on {/opt/,/usr/bin/,/usr/share} filesystem: 755 package: 775

Should I really try to change the permissions on my filesystem?

@erayerdin Unflagged it for you. No worries.

Flagged it out of date without realizing it is up to date in AUR. Sorry. I don't know how to roll back my flag.

Was waiting on the RC's to finish so I could push 0.37.1 rather than push 0.37.0 and have to update a while later.

Version 0.37.1 Codename Heisenberg has been pushed.

Hi, hopefully another maintainer can update because I am away for a while.

@HawkinsTheWIzard we use the GitHub release url because we can do version pinning;- we'd otherwise need to also skip sha256sum check. You can build the package using the following though if you want:

possibly change the upstream deb URI to download to:

Sorry about the 404, I had not noticed the release being unpublished. Update pushed.
