majorx234: Thank you for bringing the fork to my attention. Unfortunately this is a release package. Your suggestion doesn't properly adhere to Arch Linux's packaging standards or best practices for git sources.

While there are release archives available none of the releases contain the python2-enum34 port; however, the change was minimal and one was able to patch the current release to use python2-enum34.

there is a new repo where the issues with python2-enum is solved
https://github.com/alessio/laditools
it is ported to python2-enum34

the old repo isn't updated since 2012

here is my suggestion for a PKGBUILD:

New release: I opted to use laditools packaged with latest ladish release.

@amstan: that repo appears to store some custom version I couldn't investigate that much, I see it more appropriate for a separate -git package (assuming we really need it).

This repo seems to work: git://repo.or.cz/laditools.git.
Warning, you have to replace it in 2 places since there's also a hardcoded git clone line.

laditools should also depend on ladish, not the other way around.

kuroneko commented on 2012-04-29 20:10

Viewing the logs seems to depend on vte. Not sure if the dependency is here or in ladish.

might want to change the dependencies to python2-yaml, since python-yaml is for python v3
