Any idea what the kdebase-runtime dependency does at the moment? This package just got dropped from the repos, and is currently unmaintained at the moment [a].

Does anybody else have to use 'dbus-launch' to open kate with root dolphin?

I get "KDEInit could not launch '/usr/bin/kate'" every time and this is not even mentioned in the Wiki.

Thanks for the suggestion; I've updated the PKGBUILD.

kdesudo E: Dependency kdebase-runtime detected and not included (needed for programs ['usr/bin/kdesudo'])

Please, replace kdelibs with kdebase-runtime.

You just need to enable the 'sed' line that's in the 'Config' section of the PKGBUILD beforehand.

Won't build with current KDE (4.5.2 Arch 64 bit)

Still doesn't build for me.

works, thank you.

I've added a configuration option to the PKGBUILD, which should take care of this problem. You will need to enable it manually for now, because this package still builds correctly without it here.

In Ubuntu they fixed this bug a month ago - they are applying simple patch (drop_doc.patch) which comment out "ADD_SUBDIRECTORY(en)". And I don't know why you don't want to do in the same way.
