FabioLolix: True. In hindsight they should have been suffixed with a -bin. However, that naming convention has mainly one reason: Avoiding the need to rename the package if at some later point in time someone wants to create a PKGBUILD that builds from source. This is unlikely to happen here because the main selling point of adoptopenjdk is to get prebuilt binaries.

Hello, both adoptopenjdk pkgbuild are not build from source and lack -bin suffix
