Thank you for digging up the patch from the mailing list, lysergia. I confirm it working. For some reason, the provided diff did not work. I made one that does for me:

Was able to get it to compile by applying this patch:

The problem with lib64 should be fixed now

I'm no expert, but this lib64 issue sounds like something that needs to be fixed. to install I had to:

cd /usr
mv lib64 lib64.backup
[here install jamin]
mv lib64/ladspa/jamincont_1912.so lib/ladspa/
rm -R lib64
mv lib64.backup lib64

this works, but look at how dangerous this looks.. the package should not install stuff to /usr/lib64, but to /usr/lib

Hi,

i had to mv lib64, after that jamin-cvs installed properly, but it creates a directory lib64 under /usr.

I copied the ladspa plugin to /usr/lib/ladspa/ manually and deleted lib64 dir and moved back the link.

Still working :)

Doesn't start? That is strange. Maybe "export LADSPA_PATH=/usr/lib/ladspa" will help? Though should work without that too.

/usr/lib64 is a symlink to /usr/lib. After removing (or renaming) the symlink the package installs. JAMin still doesn't start and asks to install FWH plugins. Afaik I have those installed, I'll see if building the lib32 versions makes a difference... Anyway the package builds and installs now, thanks!

[EDIT] Doh! I see I have the library it asks for in place, I need to set my LADSPA path properly. No worries, all is well again in the universe :D.

Is your /usr/lib64 a symlink to /usr/lib? There should be no real /usr/lib64 folder.
