Sorry for the long delay. I pushed an update to version 3.8.2 from master branch. I skipped version 3.8.0 (latest "stable" release) because it fails to build with any reasonable settings (and even 3.8.2 required several fixes in order to build, cf. patch).

Since the application is not compatible with ITK 5, I created the insight-toolkit4 package, that is required as a dependency.

NOTE: Unfortunately ITK Snap does not build against ITK 5 and VTK 8. Making this package work again will probably require to either package insight-toolkit4 and build against it and vtk6, or do a superbuild and install in /opt.

@astewartau: It seems you updated ITK and did not re-build ITK-SNAP afterwards, so it cannot find the dynamic libraries of ITK (since it is still linked to the old version).

I get this error on attempting to run itksnap:

/usr/lib/snap-3.6.0/ITK-SNAP: error while loading shared libraries: libITKDICOMParser-4.13.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

@m-pilia Got it, thx.

One of the 3rd party repo I used has upgrade ITK to 5.0.0

@huyizheng: Are you using itk-git by chance? Because it seems your installation of ITK is missing the "itkVectorResampleImageFilter.h" header, that was deprecated a couple weeks ago. This package should build fine with ITK 4.13.1, but I am not sure it works with ITK 5.0.0.

I got this error:

@asterwartau: Fixed, thanks! I must have missed it in the output of namcap.

Me again! I believe there is now a runtime (but not a build) dependency on libjson-rpc-cpp-git as I receive the following error on launch without it:

/usr/lib/snap-3.6.0/ITK-SNAP: error while loading shared libraries: libjsoncpp.so.20: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Thanks @astewartau, I updated the dependencies. It was a few months I did not build this, and I think something changed in how VTK is packaged.
