The ftp link here is broken. IRAF Community has migrated this repo into GitHub, at https://github.com/iraf-community/iraf

Changing dependency to lib32-libtinfo AUR package

Hi. Today I had a problem with upgrading the system. Apparently ncurses now provides libtinfo. So I was forced to uninstall libtinfo (AUR). Now iraf is broken because it wants version 5 of libtinfo and ncurses provides version 6.
My current workaround was to simlink 5 to 6 and it runs. Thanks!

You are right, the multilib lib32 packages are needed as dependencies. I have updated the PKGBUILD with those changes now.

Hi, as I said, I installed it fine but after trying running it I bumped into the reported problems. So I think that lib32-libxmu needs to be added to the dependencies and also lib32-ncurses5-compat-libs.

Thanks riczan, I have added ncurses5-compat-libs to the dependency list ( libxm was already there).

Hi. I have a new archlinux box and I got problems running both ecl and xgterm after the installation. Missing ncurses5 libraries and libxmu. I installed the following packages to solve both problems.
ncurses5-compat-libs (for ecl)
multilib/lib32-libxmu (for xgterm)
lib32-ncurses5-compat-libs (for xgterm)
please add them to the dependencies. Thanks

Thank you for noticing the problem. The dependencies have been updated.

When I installed this, and tried to run `cl`, I got the error message:
/iraf/iraf/bin.linux64/vocl.e: error while loading shared libraries: libtinfo.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Installing https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/libtinfo/ fixed this issue for me. Should this be added as a dependency?

The PKGBUILD works well now for i686 and x86_64
