here you go :)

2019 Update 5 is available, so if anyone can share a link to the newest cluster edition, I can update the package.

@oponkork Do you mean adding environment modules as a dependency? This definitely makes sense on some configurations, but for a general purpose package I think we should keep using profile.d. You can fork the repo and maintain a envmodule-using variant of the package.

oponkork commented on 2019-09-03 07:23

Will it be possible to add a module file instead of fixing PATH through profile.d?

The package is updated to 2019.4.243 (thanks, @morphemic420!) The vtune-amplifier PATH problem should be fixed (thanks, @krobelus!) Also, I've made a number of packaging process optimizations (e.g. RPM packages of unrelated architectures are skipped). Please let me know if you have any issues with the updated PKGBUILD.

Can't it be build from RPM or DEB repos, like here? https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/tree/PKGBUILD?h=intel-mkl-slim These are basically the same RPMs you get from Intel PSXE, aren't they?

alyst commented on 2019-06-27 15:11

@alleut I can take a look into that, but I only access to pro edition from my intel account. Can anyone share a link to the recent cluster edition?

Any news about update to 2019.4?

krobelus commented on 2019-06-11 13:29

It seems that /etc/profile.d/intel_vtune-amplifier.sh adds /opt/intel/vtune_amplifier_xe_2019.3.0.591499/bin64 to $PATH but only /opt/intel/vtune_amplifier_2019.3.0.591499/bin64 exists.

@C5OK5Y Thank you for the report! I've moved intel_compilers.h to intel-compiler-base (I guess you've meant that it was in intel-common-libs before), also added the check that compilervars.sh file actually exists.

It also turned out that vtune/advisor/inspector packages had version problems for a long time. Fixed that too.
