Starting with 5.5.0, all PureScript make dependencies are not needed anymore. Installation should be much easier now.

Starting with the latest version, bower is not needed anymore.

nodejs-pulp still has bower in makedepends.

Does not build here. Not sure what is going on:

Builds suucesfully, but fails at browserifying.

I hope that the issue is fixed in 5.1.2. Insect will now be built from source. I don't think we need bower as a build-dependency as it will be installed via npm.

I think bower should be a build dependency of this.

I'm getting an error for the latest version (5.1.0-1) during install:

insect@5.1.0 postinstall /home/mj/.cache/yay/insect/pkg/insect/usr/lib node_modules/insect bower install && npm run browserify && npm run copy

bower ESUDO Cannot be run with sudo

Additional error details: Since bower is a user command, there is no need to execute it with superuser permissions. If you're having permission errors when using bower without sudo, please spend a few minutes learning more about how your system should work and make any necessary repairs.

You can however run a command with sudo using "--allow-root" option npm ERR! code ELIFECYCLE npm ERR! errno 1 npm ERR! insect@5.1.0 postinstall: bower install && npm run browserify && npm run copy npm ERR! Exit status 1 npm ERR! npm ERR! Failed at the insect@5.1.0 postinstall script. npm ERR! This is probably not a problem with npm. There is likely additional logging output above.

npm ERR! A complete log of this run can be found in: npm ERR! /home/mj/.npm/_logs/2019-06-17T05_58_02_478Z-debug.log ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in package().
