Is there anyway I can make it replace icu? or to configure the env to make any program look for icu52?

for some reason the .tgz file wasnt included when i cloned from git. was able to download with the link: http://download.icu-project.org/files/icu4c/52.1/icu4c-52_1-src.tgz

pasted it into the directory and everything worked fine.

this should not "provide" icu. provides are for drop in replacements.

no problem :)
Actually the diff can be taken from https://github.com/icu-project/icu4c/commit/63c098aef482f6ed09b891c65dc82a4ec99f6901

Thanks, i'll see if that works.

Can the patch be included into this AUR package?

hidebu commented on 2016-04-06 13:30

I had the same issue.

This does not build anymore. I want to try if Coreclr works with icu52. Any idea how to fix this?
