@boism Doing that would break this package for aarch64 given that "raspberrypi-firmware" is a armv7h-only package. Leaving that dep out allows for those with the Raspberry Pi 4 to build those utilities manually to be able to use the temperature function of this package.

Notes to maintainer DragonX256 for minor improvements:

  • Please add a dependency (mandatory/optional?) on the package "raspberrypi-firmware" in PKGBUILD as this package requires to have /opt/vc/bin/vcgencmd which is provided by the raspberrypi-firmware package

  • There is warning while compiling due to htop-temperature-rpi.patch because a void returning function (line 130) returns a value (line 133):

line 130: static void TemperatureMeter_display...

line 133: if ... return 1;

One needs to enter the F2 menu of htop to configure it so that it displays the Raspberry temperature, as it's not displayed by default.
