After some testing, I think that this application will work fine only if minimserver is installed.
Since there is not an AUR package, you can download it from
and extract it to a directory of your choice (It is not a good idea to use the installation script..)

So the starting sequence is like this:
1) hqplayerd
2) rygel
3) minimserver-0.8.2/bin/startd

Now you can play your audio file with hqplayer on your computer from Bubbleupnp android upnp client.

Added systemd service. Now you can start hqplayerd with:
systemctl start hqplayerd@user

Embedded version of HQPlayer is designed for building Linux-based music playback devices. It provides standard MPRIS player control API that can be used to integrate various different types of control interfaces. Such as using Rygel for UPnP AV Renderer, or implementing a custom GUI. Optional support for FFMPEG libraries for extending media decoding capabilities.
