@lkorba @andreas5232 I think this is likely an upstream issue. I'd recommend reaching out to Hiri support (they've been pretty responsive in the past):

Unfortunately, I fear Hiri might be unmaintained by upstream - they haven't released an update in nearly a year, now. The optimist in me hopes they're just working on a big update, however!

@lkorba: Same problem here... Reinstall and config removal didn't fix it for me. :( There seems to be a logfile in /home/username/.local/share/hiri/logs/hiri.log, but I couldn't find any valuable hints there. Looks like hiri is working in the background, but the UI is broken.

My hiri starts with a blank screen... Any ideas? When started from cmdline I don't see any debug messages etc

Hey toastercup glad to hear it and thanks for snagging :) The package was way behind so glad we can get that going again without manually tweaking each release ha, if ever need any assistance with it give a holler, thanks!

Howdy, folks! I use this email client actively, and should be able to keep up maintenance. I've pushed up the latest (v1.2.3.0) with some small refactors to the package. Thanks!
