Source URL needs to be changed to https://observer.gsfc.nasa.gov/ftp/edhs/hdfeos/latest_release/HDF-EOS${pkgver}v1.00.tar.Z.

You are right @fhs, I will take the first option, in the next days I will fix that.
thanks!

Hi @epsilom,
I see few options:
1. Create a separate hdf-eos-common package for those files, and make this package depend on it.
2. Add hdf-eos5 as a dependency for this package, but this means user has to install gdal and hdf5.
3. Add hdf-eos5 as an optional dependency, so the user at least knows where to find the files.
4. Add a comment in PKGBUILD explaining why the files are being removed.
I would at least do (3) and (4). Option (1) might be a bit overkill, but it's the more "correct" solution.

Hi @fhs
yes I know, but these 4 files that I removed in PKGBUILD is because the package hdf-eos5 provide these files (are identical files) and, of course, I had to delete that files else you can't install both packages (hdf-eos2 and hdf-eos5). If you need this header file, install hdf-eos5.
do you think if there are other better way for resolve this conflict files?

Why is ease.h removed from this package? HdfEosDef.h is clearly including ease.h
