Nice comment natedennis.

The package is yours. Please do the job as you demand other to do it. We will watch without saying anything.

WHY???? 3 isnt stable for shit.. its a disaster and now the old version is also broken. you bunch of morons should have left this package alone. Im stuck looking for a new product because you guys and your hamster maintainer pantie raid power grab. PUT IT BACK TO 2 you assholes.. it says 2 in the title and the current maintainers of this product are morons. (its an informed opinion.. ive been watching them without saying anything for years)

@SanskritFritz Ok for your proposal, but do not hesitate to ask if you prefer to maintain the new stable release. I'll have no problem to remove this package.

@lgpasquale Thank you very much for the PKGBUILD.

@mathieu.clabaut If you wish to follow SanskritFritz's idea, here's a modified PKGBUILD I put together that should work for version 3.0.1:

Here's an idea. I'm the maintainer of hamster-time-tracker. I was reluctant to update that package further than 1.04 for known reasons. But now that a "stable" 3.0 came out, I think it is time to move on. So I'll move my package to something like hamster-time-tracker-legacy and give you the name hamster-time-tracker so you can follow the stable versions under a more official name. Deal?

Can you give a try to the new version ?

Did not work:

Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/hamster", line 30, in <module> from hamster import client, reports ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'hamster'
