This package is not needed anymore since GTK 3.24.28 and gsettings-desktop-schemas 40.0 releases.

I brought this package back as the schemas might be still useful with apps that package outdated gtk3 releases. These are probably mostly AppImages, Snaps, and proprietary apps.
This package isn't needed for Flatpak apps that use the Freedesktop 19.08 and 20.08 runtimes or the Gnome 40 runtime. I haven't tested more runtimes.

Previously I experienced startup instability and slowless of the xdg-desktop-portal service, and the log suggested that it might be related to having both these schemas and the ones from gsettings-desktop-schemas installed in the system.
After almost a month of working with this package installed, it seems like the issue is not related. Nonetheless, I added a warning in the installation script about the possibility of breaking the service.

Note also that in spite of this package version, the schemas were actually taken from gnome-settings-daemon 3.36.1. I already bumped to 40.0 when Gnome released so it's set like this.

The gnome-settings-daemon conflict removed as now it shouldn't conflict with the package, but I haven't tested with both installed. Post here if you do.

Be aware that this package is basically unmaintained. I don't think I would need these schemas anymore so I don't have it installed in my system.

This package is a workaround for the font rendering issue of Flatpak apps under Wayland and will not be need when the XSETTINGS schema will be moved into gsettings-desktop-schemas.

I might bring this back as it seems like it's still needed for Flatpak apps that are using runtimes with outdated GTK3 versions.

I'm seeing errors like the following and I'm a bit hesitant about bringing back the schemas so I'll wait until I'll be able to confirm that adding back the schemas won't break xdg-desktop-portal.

xdg-desktop-por[3000]: Failed to ReadAll() from Settings implementation: Timeout was reached

@WhyNotHugo thanks for the feedback. I thought it more user-friendly than just sending an AUR package removal request, and I also haven't tested yet gsettings-desktop-schemas 40.0.

I actually removed the schemas, they are not packaged in, so this package doesn't conflict with gsettings-desktop-schemas.
I hoped that if this change breaks font anti-aliasing for someone else using this then I'll get a complaint here and I could bring back the schemas.
Probably in a few weeks, if nothing is broken, I'll send a package removal request.

I appreciate the warning indicating that this package is deprecated.
