September 17th, 2018: Some namcap cleanup. And we're blocked by google old deb package about libidn. Until there is an update, you'll have to made a symlink for libidn.

Until then, DO NOT FLAG IT as out of date. Thanks.

the options menu not appearing is a known bug, the workaround is to quit musicmanager and delete the ~/.config/google-musicmanager folder then rerun musicmanager and select an empty folder for uploading, it might complain that it can't upload anything but that can be ignored. You should know be able to open the options widow and select the correct upload and download folders.

Error in the md5sum check!

@rjrjr:
Had the same problem. Found a workaround here:
http://askubuntu.com/questions/222609/why-does-google-music-manager-refuse-to-open-in-12-04
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2087385&page=2

Delete ~/.config/google-musicmanager and reinstall.
Then, choose Upload when installing and an empty folder, later you can choose download in the options.

I am getting the following error when I rum makepkg -i on this package:

error: missing package metadata in google-musicmanager-1.0.84.1107_r0-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz
error: 'google-musicmanager-1.0.84.1107_r0-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz': invalid or corrupted package

Is this happening to anyone else?

I'm having some trouble with music manager on 64 bit Openbox running kernel 3.11. The package installed fine, and allowed me to log in, but now I am unable to open the main window. The icon appears in my dock, and I can right click on it to open the menu, but am unable to open the 'Options' window. Double clicking the icon also does nothing.

@sh4wn Same problem for me!

The MD5 sum of the file doesn't match:

==> Retrieving sources...

==> Validating source files with md5sums...
google-musicmanager-beta-amd64-1.0.71.8015_r0.deb ... FAILED
==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check!

I have bitcoin-qt running just fine.

@supernatendo Strange. Does that happen with other QT apps?
