@Shackra Thank you, it worked. should not there be in the pkgbuild itself a system do detect if llvm is on then change the name of the file like this if use_llvm = yes then binary_name = godot.x11.opt.tools.${_arch}.llvm

shackra commented on 2019-10-16 00:58

@HarpyX it seems that using llvm produces a different name for the binary "bin/godot.x11.opt.tools.64.llvm" is not the same as "bin/godot.x11.opt.tools.64"

if your frontend allows modifying the PKGBUILD before starting the build, just add ".llvm" at the end of the binary file name.

HarpyX commented on 2019-10-08 20:13

@shackra well i cant find the log file either. i guess the binary is not the only thing vanishing here. or maybe i forgot where i suposed to be looking at. anyway i used a frontend for aur and here is what it gives me on its output https://pastebin.com/WjXrBr8V

shackra commented on 2019-10-07 19:45

@HarpyX that's wrong, the binary file should be available by the end of the build.

Can you paste the logs of the build somewhere for me to review?

HarpyX commented on 2019-10-07 13:11

it fails to install right at the end bin/godot.x11.opt.tools.64 directory or file could not be found, what is going on?

When opening I only get a black window, has anything to do with nvidia propietary drivers? godot-git works just fine.

I wanted to comment here in case anyone else has issues. On my Ryzen 2200G system building with multiple threads caused the build to fail repeatedly in different ways. I finally tried grabbing the git repo and building from source without any extra threads and it completed. I don't know if the issue was with scons or not. Just thought I would share.

Godot 3.1 does not use OpenSSL anymore, so the builtin_openssl=yes line in PKGBUILD isn't needed.
