@dleslie care to share a diff instead? I fear not having a way to test the additions may somehow introduce issues for all user later

I managed to get this to build on aarch64 with some simple PKGBUILD changes:

  1. Add aarch64 to supports archs

  2. Add an alternate match for 64bit that matches aarch64

Runs fine after that. I imagine for arm it would need arm added to the 32bit allowed list.

This is a great package, and I'd like to see it in the official community repos.

@shackra, ah yes that was it, sorry to have wasted your time I should have tried that first.

@shackra It works fine, now the only thing left for me to figure out is how to make it so it auto-signs the built package just like when I build stuff outside the chroot.

shackra commented on 2020-07-02 20:26

@kusoneko yeah, have CHROOT defined in your shell configuration, I have fixed the thing with $CHROOT, thus you can try again and see if you can reproduce the bug building that way.

kusoneko commented on 2020-07-02 19:03

And I found out why that is, the wiki page for setting up the chroot says to do CHROOT=~/chroot, but if you don't export it the make command doesn't see it somehow. Now the error still happens but the echo line correctly displays updating /home/kusoneko/chroot/root chroot environment.... After switching all $CHROOTs with ${CHROOT}s in the Makefile it works correctly.
