These packages do not need -bin. Sources do not seem to be available, and this is also a Java application.

This package requires a -bin suffix, it will be merged into gluon-scene-builder-8-bin

I'm getting the error

Error: Could not find or load main class

Fixed by installing java-openjfx

@snout - oh you mean javafx is included with oracle jdk/jre but not with openjdk? in that case an optional dependency with an explanation would be the best solution.

snout commented on 2016-06-01 06:35

Javafx is included with the standard JDK and JRE bundles - and Oracle's scenebuilder is included as source code in openjfx, so at best java-openjfx would be an optional dependency, I suppose?

@Lelouch - thx for the report

usr1 commented on 2016-05-31 22:39

Shouldn't this package depend on "java-openjfx"?

Lelouch commented on 2016-05-07 10:34

You should add
to gluon-scenebuilder.desktop
to to have scenebuilder at the right place in the start-menu

snout commented on 2016-03-16 15:59

That's the icon file name for Oracle's scenebuilder, not Gluon, right? If the gluon icon should be included in a more standards-compliant way I'd gladly hear it.

trinhanhngoc commented on 2015-12-22 02:48

Icon file name should be "" (fix icon display in gnome-shell)
