I kind of forgot about this package so yeah but now the cmake change had been added and to answer you question i think a good use case for this is when developers don't want to mess around with libraries for their linux builds and modules in their git repo and still get the most up to date library plus all libraries on linux are usually shared ( that's the point of the package manager , to be a central source for all apps ) and while not everyone may use it it's useful that it's always up to date and there because it's in the AUR all i have to do is change the version number, regenerate the .SRCINFO and make sure it compiled and plus it's not like it's going to affect applications that have integrated glad into them already and for the ones that don't want to worry about glad well they can just tell people on arch to install this package. Plus i couldn't be bothered to integrate and keep glad up to date for every one of my apps and nobody is going to mind another app in the AUR so... yeah

Installing glad globally or for multiple packages doesn't really make sense, the intended usage is to generate/download a loader for each of your projects.

Is there another usecase I am missing?

Need integration with CMake

install -D -m755 "$srcdir"/${_pkgname}/gladConfig.cmake "$pkgdir"/usr/lib/cmake/glad/gladConfig.cmake
