GitExtensions crash when I try to open a repository. The Bug seems to be related to this here, the selected solution (disabling the plugins) works: https://github.com/gitextensions/gitextensions/issues/1960#issuecomment-22488217
This is the console output I get when I try to open a repository: http://pastebin.com/FQzNVa1E
If I move the two plugins as suggested in the above comment, it works fine.
Is it possible to fix this issue in the package?

Sadly, Mono support has been removed from 3.x.x and the latest version working on linux remains at 2.51.05.
Unless there is a new version in the 2.x.x series or Mono gets supported again, please don't flag the package as out of date.
