@Secreteus This package uses Python 3 and python-sip is already a dependency.

@flying-sheep Because that's what upstream uses and recommends :

Hi! Why does this depend on tango-icon-theme?

It already depends on hicolor-icon-theme, so tango shouldn’t be necessary.

Secreteus commented on 2019-05-10 14:59

@nachordez python2-sip is missing.

nachordez commented on 2018-12-13 18:44

True. Misses python-sip dependency. Should be added.

Missing the python-sip dependency:

ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'sip'

Thank you SeeLook! That worked for me, too.

So try to rebuild/reinstall Frescobaldi itself. For me, it launches well after that

mthead commented on 2018-08-12 11:28

Again frescobaldi is failing to launch. Tried recompiling python-poppler-qt5 and python-ly but still get:

% frescobaldi Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/frescobaldi", line 4, in <module> from frescobaldi_app import toplevel ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'frescobaldi_app'</module>

@rdoursenaud solved. Thank you!

@cgb Recompiling python-poppler-qt5 from the AUR should sort things out.
