@DuBistKomisch I don't see what's wrong either, other packages in the AUR provide libfreetype.so as well. What do you mean install manually?

DuBistKomisch commented on 2019-03-20 12:00

trying to install this latest version makes aurman unable to resolve dependencies, e.g.

:: Dependency libfreetype.so=6-64 of package ffmpeg is not fulfilled

but I can't see anything wrong, all the packages just list libfreetype.so, and works if I install manually, so probably nothing!

Hello all, I've decided to adopt this package and I've upgraded it to v2.10.0. Please let me know if there are any mistakes or changes you'd like to see.

@oxalin this is common knowledge.

ArchangeGabriel commented on 2018-10-31 14:07

Well the package is likely going away soon anyway (https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/60658).

oxalin commented on 2018-10-31 14:03

For anyone installing the package for the first time, you'll need to import the following PGP key: gpg --keyserver keys.gnupg.net --recv-keys C1A60EACE707FDA5

Please, pin this comment.

How do I set the pixel alignment?

MarcinWieczorek commented on 2018-07-13 12:03

It is required.

Unable to build package. freetype-2.9.1.tar.bz2 ... FAILED (unknown public key) Error: one or more PGP sig keys coudnt be verified. Is it ok to gpg --recv-key manually? Thanks!

@amoka You can check this section from the wiki and the next section (Subpixel rendering):

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/font_configuration#Pixel_alignment

Usually pixel alignment is enabled by default. In that case you just have to install this package and you are done. If it is not your case just follow the wiki.
