This should be considered obsolete. There are 3 available assembly workbenches at the time of this comment:
Assembly2+ (continuation of Assembly2)
Assembly3 (realthunder's Assembly workbench part of LinkStage3 branch)
Assembly4 (Local Coordinate System based assembly. Uses realthunder's App::Link functionality)

I had issues recently installing this package using pacaur. It should be renamed freecad-assembly2-git due to it being sourced from git.

Furthermore, it looks like FreeCAD (v0.16) is no longer checking /usr/share/freecad/Mod for workbenches but rather /usr/lib/freecad/Mod. See

I can't install this package. The exact error is:

It seems this issue is related to the package being a developement version but not using the git extension on its name. See
