Hi, this doesn't work for me. The build returns the error: "No file Ufontawesometwo.fd on input line"

This website[1] shows how to package the module correctly, so I suspect some file is missing here.

Recommend using instead of otf-font-awesome, as this package does not support font awesome 5.

CountMurphy commented on 2018-01-02 22:59

problem temporarily fixed by downgrading to otf-font-awesome (4.7.0-5

suddenly getting:

! The font "FontAwesome" cannot be found.

reinstalled package, but no use. Anyone else getting this error?

The package didn't install for me, I got an error message that fontawesome.sty could not be found. I looked into the package directory and for some reason, there was only "fontawesome.sty.part", but the file looked complete (with "end of file" comment at the end). So I just changed the name to fontawesome.sty and everything worked. What might be the reason for that? Is anybody able to fix the pkgbuild?

Removing the 'out of date' flag again: this package doesn't provide fontawesome, it provides xdanaux's latex script for it.
I already raised an issue on his project for him to update his code, but this package can't be updated any faster. If it really matters to you, go tell him that instead of flagging this package :)

hmm.. my bad - must be an issue on my end as pacaur is still failing the checksums, but makepkg has no such problems

1ace commented on 2016-05-25 07:54

@olliemath: those are already the md5sums.
Did upstream change again? I'll have a look when I get home.

Until maintainer updates, replace md5sums in PKGBUILD with
md5sums=('ee97743276dc242c78f33fd622e260ea' '40b369fd6c8364bdcc88401c4c1db5bf' 'f7ffa71c62c5257edd5542253d4cea15' '7166bfdff927bad3f81e302543d76c90')

The checksums are incorrect in the latest update.
