@MartinX3 @ajgraves: Sorry about the delay, the package is updated now.

Hello @dpeukert et al, this has lagged as out of date for a little bit, any progress on updating the package? I also notice you package the RPM, I'd be happy to help if you want to switch this over to using the AppImage for the binary. I maintain several packages using the AppImage format, it makes binaries super easy.

The 5.5.0 version has performance problems.

Does anyone know of a way to change the fonts used by the Telegram service in Ferdi?

Have you considered using the AppImage instead? I've previously had problems when trying to repackage platform-specific binaries. Sometimes they assume shared objects use a certain naming scheme or are at at certain version. Using an AppImage wouldn't be that much more complicated. Here's an example if you're interested: https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/tree/PKGBUILD?h=simplenote-electron-arm-bin (wouldn't bother with lines 70--76 in this).

Hi Daniel, I just stumbled upon this PKGBUILD and saw your comment:

You probably already know that, but in case you don't, AUR has its own git these days: https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/tree/PKGBUILD?h=ferdi-bin

Mind if I ask, out of curiosity, why do you host it elsewhere? It feels like unnecessary redundancy / complexity.

@pavethem 5.5.0-gm and 5.5.0-gm.2 are pre-releases, this package only tracks full releases.
