I can confirm that sdl need to be changed in sdl2, moreover could you delete a previous 'build' directory or create it with 'mkdir -p' in order to avoid an error on a second build.

Hey guys, ran into a few build errors on 64 bit.

After manually digging through the cmake errors, it seems this now requires 'sdl2' to build - at least on 64 bit. That got me past the initial configuration checks and through the build process.

After manually digging through the cmake errors, it seems this now requires 'sdl2' to build - at least on 64 bit. That got me past the initial configuration checks.

Sadly, that now dumps me on a compiler error - gcc requesting me to file a bug report, that's a new one! Appears to hang on 23% for a good while before resulting in a compiler error.

Can somebody else on 64 bit confirm?

@mbrown
Thanks, I've added it

The error reported by Shakz seems to be fixed by installing the "glu" package --- it should be added as a dependency.

Sorry, I can't replicate your error. The error is pretty ambiguous, which is one of the things I dislike about cmake in general.

This errors out for me.

Any suggestions?

@anatolik
Thanks. I implemented the changes as you suggested.

tried your suggestions, but continuing to get the same errors. I've tried a few weird "experiments" on this install, and it might be time to wipe it and start fresh. I'll try it between now and Monday and let you know if it was "just me."

A few suggestions:

1) Use proper pkgver() for -git package https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/VCS_PKGBUILD_Guidelines#Git
2) Remove "|| return 1"
