Since eid-mw now contains the middleware, the viewer and the Firefox extension, the eid-viewer package is now deprecated. eid-viewer has been merged into this package.

This package is making use of PGP signatures. Please make sure you understand that principle before filling a request: A GPG public key needs to be imported first, typically with a command like:

gpg --recv-key 824A5E0010A04D46

Receiving GPG keys might fail with the following error message: gpg: keyserver receive failed: Connection refused. If this happens, just check your DNS or use another one.

Update: 2017-03-29 We are now using the build server. As explained in the PKGBUILD file, only the binary files hosted on the dist server are signed, the source files are not in order to avoid confusion with less tech-savvy sysadmins. For security-conscious users like us, we need to use the build server instead. This is why it has been decided, this PKGBUILD won't use the dist server anymore, as long the build server remains publicly available. Using the build server also fixes issues with curl user-agent in the process.

Hi wget

I also did get other issues.

Had to enable pcscd daemon: sudo systemctrl enable pcscd.service (it's not enabled with pcsclite)

And install ccid (it's an optional package)

Package updated. Thanks labsin for the patch. You avoided me losing some time.

Since this was causing issues for some of you wrt. gnupg, I added a note in the PKGBUILD to check your DNS first otherwise recv-keys might fail. I experienced this issue on the CI build containers I have. Choosing a public DNS fixed the issue, not the local resolv.

I'd like to propose an update to the package:

Bumped version

Replace c_rehash with openssl rehash as it was giving errors

Hello, I had to install pcsclite to be able to build this package.

Would it be possible to add it in the PKGCONFIG? Thank you!

What if the files in the comment below are not there?

@niels1995 Probably due to a misconfigured gpg. Be sure to have

keyserver-options auto-key-retrieve

in ~/.gnupg/gpg.conf

in ~/.gnupg/dirmngr.conf; if you do not have a working ipv6 connection (by default it tries and fail to get the key ipv6 even if ipv6 internet is disabled). kill dirmngr after changing the options

I tried the minfin website today but i still get the ERR_SSL_CLIENT_AUTH_SIGNATURE_FAILED error on Chromium. I used to know how to fix this but all references on the web that contained this fix seem to be removed.

configure: error: Package requirements (libpcsclite >= 1.4.4) were not met: No package 'libpcsclite' found.

After installing 'community/pcsclite' package, installation on my new workstation continued as expected. Are u sure 'pcsclite' should not be defined as a dependency? I noticed pcsc-tools is optional, or am I missing something here?

@barius I'll be looking at this, but I won't promise any fix for it as this would require me to build palemoon which is in AUR. If you have any binary repo, please let me know, this would greatly improve the debug process :)

This works fine with firefox but not with palemoon. Any idea if it is possible to use it with palemoon? I notice that palemoon-git, but not palemoon, is listed as an option dependency (provides firefox).
