@Smit_17 : It's not a distribution-specific issue. It's an issue with the
python-googletrans
package and I have no control over it. See the last four comments (as of posting) in https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/python-googletrans/ . As a fix, simply manually installpython-h2
like archisman stated.Smit_17 commented on 2021-01-08 13:20

@archisman This is an issue with the python-googletrans package. I've reported it there.
Also, please note that Manjaro is not unsupported out of ill will towards anyone, it's just that libhandy, an essential GNOME library, has not been updated to the minimum required version even after 3 months since said version's release.

I got the following error when running in Manjaro, which prevented the window from opening.
The solution was to manually install
python-h2
Alternatively, edit the PKGBUILD to add
python-h2
to the dependencies. @fushinarilibhandy
version 1.0.3-1 is now on Manjaro repo.fushinari commented on 2020-11-03 18:06
@nobicycle Please understand that Manjaro and other Arch derivatives with outdated packages are unsupported as you can see on the GitHub issue here.

@yochananmarqos I know. It hasn't release yet, so I have yet to update the name.
