Can you merge my changes[1], so the dkms package can be build agains an arbitrary kernel version (i.e. kernel update hook triggers dkms install)

Thanks! I just jused a self-made package with 0.9.23 the last kernel updates, it worked too ...

No I could'nt found any advantage in 0.9.26, I think there's only support for new cards/moduls.

Well, yes and no.

It's easier that way to determine which modules need to be added to the dkms config file

Maybe I'm getting this wrong, but shloudn't the package skip the whole build part until when dkms is run after installation?
