Still using this with my old but useful dolby headphone amplifier, even pipewire accepts the dcaenc pulse plugin. Hope this will will last for some more good movies ...

I am the upstream author, and the project is indeed abandoned. However, the canonical URL is not, it is Anyway it doesn't matter, the repositories are identical.

The upstream URL returns a 404, the project is on Github at BTW last update is from 2015: out of date package or that older version still works?

Hey man, I just wanted to say that this package also compiles fine on my Raspberry Pi, so if you want to support ARM platforms aswell, you could add armv7h and also armv6h to the arch array.

The alsa-plugin stopped working for me. It only worked for me via pulseaudio anyway, but with upgrading pulseaudio to version 6, pulseaudio crashes with


in /etc/asound.conf.

Downgrading pulseaudio to version 5 brings sound back. Anyone with an idea/ fix etc?
