@Musikolo Thanks for packing it for us, man!

Musikolo commented on 2019-10-26 01:35

Updated to version 10.0.23 build 3008.

@arjunv, yes, I pasted the wrong hash code for version 10.0.22 in my previous post. I edited and fixed it. Thanks a lot for your contribution! ;-)

@Musikolo the hash for 10.0.22 was df19ae2b8ebe46c488c82f512d065256d20f5ab97dc6defaecd27fa1b1c9336f right?

"The installers where re-uploaded shortly after 10.0.23 was released. Since it was a build error the version string was not modified. You can see in Help->About that the internal build # was changed to 3008. For the original 10.0.23 the build number was 3007." -

@Musikolo The new sha256sum is 87abcb635c27ae59292cc6832d774806ef3e460de9f6ef6c3c5dc61e015b31e0

While the hash code issue remains and it's being looked into, it is recommended to stay with the previous version 10.0.22 which hash code is df19ae2b8ebe46c488c82f512d065256d20f5ab97dc6defaecd27fa1b1c9336f.

I opened a ticket at for DbVis to clarify.

The sha256 hash of the file seems to be different from that in the PKGBUILD. Have opened a support ticket at with @Musikolo and @shpelda included. If anyone else wishes to be added to that conversation, let me know.

PS: The sha256sum value for the current file available at is 87abcb635c27ae59292cc6832d774806ef3e460de9f6ef6c3c5dc61e015b31e0

PPS: Strongly suggest not to use the above hash to update the package and wait till the maintainer clears things up. It could even be a supply chain attack at dbvis.

PPPS: If you wish to use the package till then, use the previous version: pkgver = 10.0.22 sha256sums = df19ae2b8ebe46c488c82f512d065256d20f5ab97dc6defaecd27fa1b1c9336f

The downloaded file's hash for that version matches with the entry in PKGBUILD
