Here is a modified PKGBUILD, http://ompldr.org/vN2Q3bQ

* Does not conflicts anymore with conky (uggly)
* Auto-detects if user has wireless_tools (which is my case)
* Correctly install license :)

Minor PKGBUILD tweaks:

* updated depends as per namcap
* removed reference to $startdir
* quote directories

Adopted and updated.

@Agi93 please feel free to edit PKGBUILD by yourself. Enabling --enable-wlan switch requires additional package to be installed: wireless_tools and since not everybody uses wlan (including me) I am not going to include it by default.

@fan_only1: You're thinking of --enable-wlan

I tried --enable-wireless with the build and it did not work. --enable-wlan adds the new wireless conky objects. I agree, this definitely should be in the PKGBUILD by default.

i can't figure out why "--enable-wireless" isn't included in the PKGBUILD build() func, this made me scratch my head quite some time before understanding why wireless* options were unable to output anything.

@system: Thanks

@securitybreach
All those configuration options are not supported by conky-cli, because they are related to X and fonts. You need to remove these all those lines. You also need to enable some sort of output, e.g. using "out_to_console yes".

To begin with I run Arch 64bit with Xmonad-darcs and pipe conky-cli into my Xmobar. That being said, something in the last few days has broken conky-cli on my machine. I am now getting tons of errors on my ~/.conkyrc:

Conky: /home/comhack/.conkyrc: 26: no such configuration: 'alignment'
Conky: /home/comhack/.conkyrc: 28: no such configuration: 'border_width'

Conky: /home/comhack/.conkyrc: 56: no such configuration: 'out_to_x'
Conky: no output_methods have been selected; exiting

I tried commenting out the parts that gave errors but I still get the no output errors.

Any ideals to what has changed?

Here is my thread about this error and more information is there: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=741745#p741745

Thanks
