By recommendation of @pmattern, now it downloads from lxqt.org and verifies the tarball with GPG, so you'll need to add Alf's GPG key in order to install for the first time or update the package.

@AlfredoRamos Sorry, it works now (I was using auto-key-retrieve with default SKS pool)

@eniac

recv-keys gives a "keyserver receive failed: no name" here.

That's a GPG issue, try using another keyserver. There's a couple of topics in the forums about that, with possible solutions.

lxqt-build-tools 0.6.0-1 is available in community though.

I don't see the problem, the package was updated to use 0.6.0 almost two months ago.

I'm aware that this package is out-of-date, however the new version (0.14.0) requires lxqt-build-tools >= 0.6.0, which is not yet in the repositories.

I'll leave it as is until that dependency is updated.

gpg --keyserver pgp.mit.edu --recv-keys 42C9C8D3AF5EA5E3

pool.sks-keyservers.net seems not aviable at the moment...

If you have trouble building the package, because something something lxqt-build-tools not found, just re-build the `lxqt-build-tools` package.

E.g. I used the aur/lxqt-build-tools-git package and it compiled fine for me again.

I'm aware about the GitHub repositories, they were used to download the source before [1]. In these cases an out-of-date report would have been useful.

https://downloads.lxqt.org/ is down and will (probably?) stay down.
lxde repos were moved to github repos.
Source should probably point to https://github.com/lxde/compton-conf/releases
sha sums and pgp keys stay the same. ;)
thanks ;)

lxqt-build-tools is now the community repository, so installing this should work with any AUR helper.
