I flagged this package as out-of-date becase, at the moment, is not well-packaged (because CMS 1.2 has some quirks that make it difficult to package).

Until CMS 1.3 is released, I advise to use the 'cms-git' package instead of 'cms'

@nlehmann: Yes, that's because is running inside fakeroot when it tries to create the user... I'm not sure how to fix that (apart from patching in order to skip the user creation, but then you have to create it manually).

If you're looking for a quick solution, run this command:

# useradd cmsuser -c 'CMS default user' -M -r -s /bin/false -U

Then, add yourself to the cmsgroup:

# usermod -a -G cmsuser <your user>

Log out to make the change effective.

Then, install this package again.

I'm installing the package using pacaur and I'm getting the following error because the script fails to add the user

useradd: PAM: Authentication service cannot retrieve authentication info
