Some things to note: This is an unofficial package, thus is not officially supported by the Citra team. Please don't ask for help on their forums or discord if you run into issues with this build, as it might devote import development resources to a bug that might have to do with running Citra on an unofficial platform. If you encounter an issue, feel free to comment on this package and I'll try to point you in the right direction.

Also, this build is in active development. Builds might break every once in a while. Please check https://travis-ci.org/citra-emu/citra-canary/builds to see if their linux builds are compiling correctly before flagging this package out of date.

If you're looking for the QT version of this package, it has now been merged in this package. No need for two packages anymore, and no need to compile everything twice.

Thanks for using my package and have a nice day! :)

@gee That commit must have slipped past me, thanks for letting me know! Updating the PKGBUILD now.

Hello,

I may be wrong but I do not believe this option exists anymore: -DENABLE_FFMPEG=ON cf changeset: https://github.com/citra-emu/citra-canary/commit/f8b395082971fbc925c4bb7075b51a1e0db58432 and the fixup that followed https://github.com/citra-emu/citra-canary/commit/ce3459192e46bf48235a7dc0b53d046c17d7134d

If I leave it as is, Fire Emblem Echoes freezes when Faye starts talking the first time. If I replace it with -DENABLE_FFMPEG_AUDIO_DECODER=ON -DENABLE_FFMPEG_VIDEO_DUMPER=ON it works fine as it did before the PR above.

Thanks!

@yar Thank you for making me aware of this! Previously I've been using an arch docker image for dependency testing which has its limitations, and can be frustrating but this is a much better alternative. I'll add ffmpeg (I could have sworn I had that in there, but I guess not) and add makechrootpkg to my test script.

Needs depends=(ffmpeg)

In the future please test your packages using makechrootpkg so you don't miss any dependencies.

@rodrigo21 That's strange, it compiles just fine for me. I'll add that to the PKGBUILD though for anyone facing that issue.

Error when build with GCC 9.1.

Check here for a bug report: https://github.com/citra-emu/citra/issues/4766.

Adding export CXXFLAGS+=" -DFMT_USE_USER_DEFINED_LITERALS=0" fix the build for me.

With this PR being merged a month ago, the additional cubeb dependency is now needed, so the following changes should be made to the PKGBUILD:

  • Add 'git+<https://github.com/kinetiknz/cubeb>' to the array of sources.
  • Add a 'SKIP' to the array of MD5 checksums.
  • Add git config submodule.cubeb.url "$srcdir/cubeb" to prepare().

I also had to do what turtlewit said, too.

Build does not complete for me. Had to change git submodule update to git submodule update --init --recursive in pkgbuild to fix.
