The error messages in cinnamon-settings can be removed with sed

sed -i '/sidePage.add_widget(self.changeTimeWidget)/d;/self.changeTimeWidget\ =\ ChangeTimeWidget()/d' files/usr/lib/cinnamon-settings/

I can confirm that if use pullrequest , pidgin trayicon is fixed
but sometimes i have the gray borders (6px) in right and bottom. Than to fix this i set (line 60):
icon.set_size(width-6, height-6);

Maybe this will help someone

pullrequest nearly fix pidgin issue, but the problem remains partially. Now it often happens that the bottom is a gray rectangle icon, as shown on the screenshot. It so happens that the icon moves up (not in the middle).

The session files are not needed anymore :)

@Ner0: Thanks! I've integrated the new patch. For Cinnamon 2D, I've also created session files and a gnome-session session file.
