It seems webkitgtk3 dependency should be changed to just webkitgtk?

twa022 commented on 2013-09-01 03:26

actually they dropped bluetooth for their own applet, cinnamon-bluetooth(-git) that uses gnome-bluetooth

The blueman-git dependency needs to be changed to blueman-bzr:
"Github repo has been discontinued. Merging into blueman-bzr."

gnome-desktop now forked to cinnamon-desktop(-git). Make sure to update the whole stack in order.

@roelof: you're right. seems like nemo is now a required component rather than an optional dependency, PKGBUILD updated. FYI: Only the current maintainer can update the package on the AUR.

@roelof, the maintainer, chenxiaolong told he left this package so you can upload your PKGBUILD

I build this package yesterday and I noticed if the user has nemo-git not installed the user has no background avaible and also the menu is not working properly. I have added this to my PKGBUILD locally but I do not know if I can upload it.

@twa022: I'm spending much of my time porting Unity and Mir to Arch. I don't really have much time for Cinnamon anymore. I've disowned this package, so if you'd like to adopt it, feel free to do so :)

per my post below, package still requires gnome-settings-daemon for the power module (for the time being -- I assume 1.10/2.0 will have gsd dependency removed)

If you compile with gnome-bluetooth installed, and then remove it post-install (as it's no longer in dependencies array), the session will not launch properly. After uninstalling and recompiling, session launched fine. I don't have any bluetooth capable devices, so I'm not sure if blueman is really working (clicking on Bluetooth in cinnamon-settings does nothing for me).
