Should be pretty obvious, but for anyone failing with the following:

ccls: error while loading shared libraries: libclangFormat.so.8: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Just do a clean build of ccls and it will happily use the Clang 9 libs.

@beojan, can not reproduce, you may should check your makepkg option or see: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Clang#Build_packages_with_Clang

Doesn't build with the error:

clang-9: error: unknown argument: '-fvar-tracking-assignments'

Flag -DCMAKE_CXX_COMPILER=clang++ has been added.

@afnan clang++

I've been having an issue where ccls crashes while I'm using it. Modifying PKGBUILD with the flag: -DCMAKE_CXX_COMPILER=clang++ has fixed the issue for me. (Edited: thanks @dryland)

pepper_chico's issue was due to LD_LIBRARY_PATH.

aur/ccls 0.20190314 is good with extra/clang 8.0.0-3

It's broken after Arch upgraded to LLVM/Clang 8:

ccls: relocation error: /usr/lib/libclangBasic.so.8: symbol _ZTIN4llvm14FoldingSetBaseE version LLVM_8 not defined in file libLLVM-8.so with link time reference
