Nice packaging, thank you very much for offering such convenience.

Running amdcccle needs libXxf86vm.so.1, so consider add libxxf86vm as an dependency?

My amdccle still shows 11.5 (Yes, I rebooted after install ) . Anyone has this too ?

- GNOME3 support still sux :(

Hi. For some reason a '/core'-file get recreated every time I install something. For example when I installed openscad and it's dependencies.
When I checked the file by: 'sudo pacman -Qo /core'
I get: '/core is owned by catalyst-total 11.5-3'

Suggestion?
Cheers.

I've got powerXpress support working right here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=935497#p935497
(catalyst/radeon switch is also working)

one more thing - after update it's better to stop X and remove /etc/ati/amdpcsdb file

Vi0L0 commented on 2011-05-13 10:58

meanwhile i've updated to 11.5-3, because ati has updated their drivers, updated files are:
/etc/ati/amdpcsdb.default
/etc/ati/control
/etc/ati/signature
I don't know what impact those files have, maybe some bugfixing, maybe adding new hardware support. Anyway it's changing nothing in GNOME3 support.
