Also uninstall gperftools when you recompile rocksdb.

rocksdb needs to be compiled without jemalloc. Either pass the environment variable DISABLE_JEMALLOC=1 to make when compiling it, or uninstall jemalloc and recompile.

followed tensor5's suggestion and am seeing the same error message as nofxx

nofxx commented on 2017-12-16 19:07

I've even tryed to recompile rocksdb (yeah nothing to do with it). W/o jemalloc error happens before, in #2, maybe some ghost config?

I'll lock into it. For now just uninstall jemalloc and try again.

Hello tensor5, intel-tbb was already installed. Tried again just to make sure, same error. Possible to force it to use intel's? Any other idea? Thanks again!

Hi nofoxx, install intel-tbb and recompile rocksdb, it will pick it up as dependency instead of jemalloc. Then recompile cardano. Let me know.

Hello tensor, thanks for the package. I've added rocksdb to pass some 'no rocksdb' error, but then:

[ 5 of 13] Compiling Pos.DB.Pure ( Pos/DB/Pure.hs, .stack-work/dist/x86_64-linux-tinfo6/Cabal- )

<command line>: can't load .so/.DLL for: /tmp/yaourt-tmp-nofxx/aur-cardano-sl/src/cardano-sl/.stack-work/install/x86_64-linux-tinfo6/lts-9.1/8.0.2/lib/x86_64-linux-ghc-8.0.2/ (/usr/lib/ cannot allocate memory in static TLS block)

Any help appreciated, thank you again.
