@juanmah:
it means that you (should) have no backlight interfaces available, you can check by doing "ls /sys/class/backlight/", if returns none than that's it (and of course you cannot use this program, sorry :( ).
The error before (msvcrt) can just be ignored and the warnings have to be there.

I get this error:

Release 0.1.0 adds daemon support. Type "man calised" for brief infos or take a look at the website for further ones.

If you are updating from an existing installation, you have to either re-run "calise --calibration" (all but geolocation step and last step will be skipped) or add manually to the profile you use your latitude and longitude in the format described below:

[Positional]
latitude = 46.04546789 # replace with your latitude
longitude = 13.568765156 # replace with your longitude
# you can check your location on http://www.earthtools.org/

well, ok!thanks...I wrote on italian forum about another problem, on your project thread, when you got time, try to have a look! thanks again for this wonderful software!

smilzoboboz commented on 2012-01-03 12:57

Nierro, I'm fixing that problem, I didn't take in consideration the possibility of having two or more settings methods (usually the kernel only relays on acpi also if there are others). As you noticed, manually giving the "path" switch solves the problem

Nierro commented on 2012-01-02 20:52

Ok i did it!
i had to use the --path option...because it seems like /sys/class/backlight/intel_agp is not supported, or well i can't get it to work...i had to use acpi_video0 instead!Thanks very nice work!

ok on my other laptop it just works, and it is wonderful...but i can't understand why on my little eeepc it doesn't!
i did the same on the two laptops...any idea?
